Strong wind experienced in parts of Johannesburg, Midrand and Pretoria last night. (3 February 2013)

The following windgusts were measured last night in parts of Gauteng.

Windgusts: Rooihuiskraal = 72.4; Fourways = 60.2; Panorama = 73.0; Houghton = 20; Northcliff = 51.8; Kyalami = 62.8; Roodepoort = 54.1 km/h

Up to now no reports of serious damage was received.
