Cape Town - An Emirates passenger plane made an emergency landing at Cape Town International Airport on Wednesday afternoon, an airport spokesperson said.
Deidre Hendricks said the plane was en route to Dubai when it returned and made an emergency landing at 14:30.
"The landing had no impact on operations at the airport," she said.
An Emirates spokesperson said a statement on the landing would be issued shortly.
She said no further information was immediately available.
