1. Heat Wave Eastern Cape - The SAWS has issued the following heat wave warning for the Eastern Cape: A heat wave with persistently high temperatures is expected over the western and southern parts until Thursday. Extremely uncomfortable, humid conditions will be experienced over the western and southern interior until Thursday.
2. (a) Gale Force Winds, Very rough seas and Heavy rainfall Kwazulu Natal - Heavy rain is expected over northeastern.Gale force (35kt or 65km/h) southerly to south-easterly winds are expected in places north of Cape St Lucia. Very rough seas with wave heights exceeding 4.0m are expected between Richards Bay and Maputo.
2 (b) Heavy rain is expected over the southeastern part of the lowveld. - Limpopo Province.
2 (c) Heavy rain is expected over the extreme southeastern parts spreading to the lowveld on Tuesday. - Mpumalanga Province.
Please report any heavy rain possible flooding, gale force winds, rough seas, wave heights, temperatures above 35 degrees Celsius and fires to the SAWDOS.
