One person was killed and another was injured when a light aircraft crashed in Krugersdorp, Netcare officials confirmed on Saturday.
Paramedics were dispatched to the scene on Gauteng’s West Rand.
It is still not clear what caused the accident.
Netcare 911's Chris Botha said, “Paramedics have arrived there and tragically, one man has died on the scene due to very extensive injuries.”
“Another man is in a very critical condition and a Netcare medical helicopter has been dispatched to the incident.”
