Mossel Bay has come alive with the beautiful sounds of magnificent flying machines this morning. While out doing my regular weather observations I found the following flying object in my camera lens. The rest is history and needless to say I completely forgot about the weather observations. I took the following "weather observation" images from Santos Beach in Mossel Bay. The airshow formed part of the 2012 Dias Festival.

The effects of severe weather are felt every year by many South Africans. To obtain critical weather information, the SAWDOS use voluntary weather observers. These volunteers help keep their local communities safe and informed by providing timely and accurate reports of severe weather to the SAWDOS for publication on the Blog. The SAWDOS is a non-profit organization that renders a FREE COMMUNITY-BASED SERVICE.
