Johannesburg - A 57-year-old Cape Town man died when his light aircraft crashed outside Port Elizabeth on Tuesday, Eastern Cape police said.
Warrant Officer Alwin Labans said the man was flying alone in a two-seater aircraft when its engine failed and it crashed at Greenbushes, outside Port Elizabeth.
"He died at the scene," Labans said.
