Most of Diepsloot still without water

Most areas in Diepsloot are still without drinkable water on Saturday morning.

Last week, the northern Johannesburg township was left without water following a sewage spill in the area.

Water tankers are still stationed in township.

Water has been restored to four areas.

Joburg Water spokesperson Millicent Kwabe said they will continue working to restore water to more areas throughout the weekend.

She said around 35 to 40 percent of Diepsloot now has drinkable water.
