Cape Town firefighters believe an unsupervised gas stove may have sparked a fatal blaze in Khayelitsha.
A three-year-old boy died in the fire.
The blaze took place near Mew Way on Monday evening.
Two shacks were gutted.
Fire Services’ Theo Layne said, “A stove that was left unattended caused the deadly fire.”
