A six year old boy has drowned after falling into a residential pool at a house in Germiston this morning.
The events leading up to the incident is unclear, but ER24 paramedics were called out to the scene where the boy fell into the pool. When paramedics arrived at the scene they found the boy already out of the pool. The boy was not breathing and had no pulse.
Paramedics immediately Initiated resuscitation efforts on the boy. Unfortunately he was later declared dead at the scene. The incident will be investigated by the appropriate authority.
