CAPE TOWN – Seven farms in the Beaufort West area have been cut off from the rest of the world following heavy snowfall, Agri Wes-Cape said on Monday.
Very cold and rainy conditions are prevailing throughout the province.
Agri Wes-Cape CEO Carl Opperman said teams were dispatched to area.
“We’ve sent a military helicopter to assist the victims.”
Meanwhile, the Northern Cape, Free State and Eastern Cape are also experiencing extremely cold weather.
At least three people have died in Port Elizabeth due to flooding.
