The effects of severe weather are felt every year by many South Africans. To obtain critical weather information, the SAWDOS use voluntary weather observers. These volunteers help keep their local communities safe and informed by providing timely and accurate reports of severe weather to the SAWDOS for publication on the Blog. The SAWDOS is a non-profit organization that renders a FREE COMMUNITY-BASED SERVICE.

Opvolg: Tiener steeds vermis in Mosselbaai
MOSSELBAAI NUUS - Die 13-jarige seun wat gister vermoedelik verdrink het, word steeds vermis.
Marcus Chirombo het net na 14:00 in die vlak branders van De Bakkestrand in Mosselbaai gespeel.
Volgens ‘n ooggetuie het ‘n brander hom omgeslaan en het hy nie weer bokant die wateroppervlak verskyn nie.
Die NSRI, asook Polisie Duikeenheid, het gesoek na die vermiste seun totdat die soektog afgelas is vanwee die slegte weersomstandighede.
'n Soektog deur die SK Polisie Duikeenheid is vanoggend voortgesit.
