Please note that the SAWDOS will publish some of the images received from our observers as soon as possible. It is rather going hectic at the moment but hopefully I will be able to upload the photos later today.
The first priority is to keep the public informed of the current weather conditions and disaster situations in parts of the country. Please be patient as I am man alone that must update Twitter, Facebook and the SAWDOS Blog.
I want to thank all those who send in images and reports. We are note yet out of the woods. So keep those messages, observations, images and info coming!!
The effects of severe weather are felt every year by many South Africans. To obtain critical weather information, the SAWDOS use voluntary weather observers. These volunteers help keep their local communities safe and informed by providing timely and accurate reports of severe weather to the SAWDOS for publication on the Blog. The SAWDOS is a non-profit organization that renders a FREE COMMUNITY-BASED SERVICE.
