Detail: Issued: 08-08-2012 Warnings: 1. Gale force south-westerly winds are expected east of Port Alfred tonight. Watches: 1. Gale force westerly to north-westerly winds are expected through the Eastern Cape province as a whole on Saturday. 2. Very cold conditions are expected over the interior of the Eastern Cape on Sunday. 3. Very rough seas with wave height in excess of 4m is expected along the entire coastline Saturday.

Kwazulu Natal Province - Warning: Take action

Subject: Gale force winds
Detail: Issued: 08-08-2012 Warnings: 1: Gale force south-westerly winds are expected south of Durban tonight. Watches: 1. Very rough seas with wave height in excess of 4m can be expected south of Richards Bay Saturday into Sunday.

Northern Cape Province - Watch: Be prepared

Detail: Issued: 09-08-2012 Watches: 1. Very cold conditions can be expected over the southern high ground of the Northern Cape on Saturday and Sunday. 2. Snowfalls can be expected on the southern high ground on Saturday.

Western Cape Province - Watch: Be prepared

Detail: 1. Gale force westerly to north-westerly winds are expected between St Helena Bay and Cape Agulhas on Friday evening, extending to include the Western Cape provinces as a whole on Saturday, reaching strong gale force winds of 40 to 50kt between Cape Point and Cape Agulhas on Saturday. 2. Very cold conditions are expected over the interior of the Western Cape on Saturday and Sunday. 3. Heavy rainfall of >50mm is expected for the south-western parts of the Western Cape on Saturday. 4. Snowfalls are expected over the mountains and high ground of the Western Cape on Saturday. 5. Very rough seas with wave height in excess of 4m is expected Saturday and Sunday.
