Gate Falls On Two People In Salt River
A gate has derailed and fallen on to two people at premises in Salt River, Cape Town, leaving them with minor injuries this afternoon.
ER24 paramedics from Constantiaberg and the Life ALS arrived on the scene and found the gate lying on the floor and the two patients just a few meters away. Fellow colleges had lifted the gate off them before emergency personnel had arrived. They were assessed and found they had minor abrasions and cuts. They were stabilised on scene and transported to a nearby hospital for further medical care.
The local authorities will investigate the incident further.
