Heavy rain is forecast for parts of North West, Gauteng, Eastern Free State, Kwazulu Natal, Limpopo and Mpumalanga from Friday (18/1/2013) to Monday (21 January 2013). However there is a significant change in the forecast models this morning. (See the previous models further down this page and compare the respective charts.) >100 mm is still predicted for certain areas. Let's see if this heavy rainfall materialize as there are definitely areas that need good rain.
Heavy rain is forecast for parts of the Eastern Cape today. The first chart reflect a -10. Between 25 - 50mm rain is predicted in areas today.
