SeaCOM update: There is an undersea cable break in the Mediterranean between Egypt and France. The undersea cut is in the TENorth submarine cable near Aboutalat towards Marseilles in wet segment. This is within Egyptian territorial waters.
At this time there is still no ETTR*.
The effects of severe weather are felt every year by many South Africans. To obtain critical weather information, the SAWDOS use voluntary weather observers. These volunteers help keep their local communities safe and informed by providing timely and accurate reports of severe weather to the SAWDOS for publication on the Blog. The SAWDOS is a non-profit organization that renders a FREE COMMUNITY-BASED SERVICE.
