Ses buitelandse toeriste wat in die Krugerwildtuin op 'n besigtigingstoer was, is met 'n helikopter opgepik toe hulle deur vloedwater afgesny is. SanParke sê die groep het ligte beserings opgedoen en word by die hoof ruskamp by Skakuza behandel. Sowat 30 toeriste is van oorstroomde kampe na ander kampe verskuif. Alle voetslaners in die park word ook as voorkomende maatreel na veilige plekke geneem. n Woordvoerder van die Wildtuin, William Mabaso, sê die Krokodilbrug hek is gesluit omdat die laagwaterbrug oor die Krokodilrivier onder water is. Mabaso sê van die paaie in die Wildtuin is ook geraak en besoekers is gewaarsku om uiters versigtig te bestuur. Mabaso sê besoekers moet grondpaaie vermy en die ontvangspersoneel vra watter paaie begaanbaar is.

The SAWDOS is a non-profit organization that renders a FREE COMMUNITY-BASED SERVICE.
