Political Connotations, Opinions, Views, Expressions, Observations: SAWDOS Twitter, SAWDOS Blog and SAWDOS Facebook pages.

It has become necessary to comment on political intolerance by some followers on Twitter towards  SAWDOS in the past few days.  I deem it necessary to bring the following to the attention of those who question the integrity of re-tweets by the SAWDOS:

1.  The SAWDOS is a  nonprofit organization that  provides a free weather and disaster observation service  to people in South African and across the globe.

2.  The SAWDOS is not affiliated to any political party, organization, group, forum, movement or for that matter to any other weather or disaster organization in South Africa or abroad.

3. The SAWDOS is a non-profit, non-political, non-religious, non racial and non-governmental organization, established in 2008.

4. The SAWDOS are dedicated to provide and receive timely and accurate reports of severe weather and disasters from communities regardless of race, color, religion, or cultural background.

5.   Whether responding to weather or disaster emergencies we remain focused on our philosophy of: Improvement of the quality of life for all people, strengthening people for disasters and emergencies, participatory involvement regardless of race, religion or gender ,creed or nationality, and providing first hand information on severe weather and disasters.

6.  SAWDOS are committed to honesty, accountability, and transparency in all our endeavors.  We will work with others to help the world's needy, regardless of race, gender, age, creed or nationality, color, political affiliation, gender or belief.

7.  SAWDOS strive to attain the highest standards in all that we do, and we are committed to participatory decision making.  Pursuing innovative and effective solutions, creative ideas, and ongoing improvement. Innovation is a key driver for our growth.

8. The SAWDOS will not get involved in political issues either to the right or the left and this we have done since our establishment in 2008.  For that matter the SAWDOS is not interested in the political views of observers, followers, contributors or any of our readers. I  personally have no political views and no interest in any either since 1980 to date.

9. The SAWDOS is not responsible for, nor do we endorse the opinions, accuracy, or comments of re-posted articles from other sites, unless specifically so indicated in our post.

10. SAWDOS does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, gender, sexual orientation, creed, religion, national, ethnic or social origin.

From the above it should be quite clear that SAWDOS is non biased towards any race, color, gender, sexual orientation, creed, religion, national, ethnic or social origin. Nor do we endorse any political views of any political party, organization, group, forum, movement or for that matter any other weather or disaster organization in South Africa or abroad.

Finally: If you not satisfied with the service that the SAWDOS render, then find you another service where you feel more at home and where the new service satisfied your needs and requirements. SAWDOS only concentrate on weather and natural disasters. Our track record since 2008 shows that we do not have the time for any political rhetoric or games.

This will be the SAWDOS's final comment in this regard.
