Port Elizabeth - Two brothers lost their lives on Saturday after their light aircraft crashed at a farm in the Eastern Cape, police said on Saturday.
"They were brothers from Port Elizabeth and it looks like they were doing a practice run from and back to Port Elizabeth when the accident happened," said spokesperson Warrant Officer Marianette Olivier.
The Cessna 150 aircraft crashed at 09:40 on Saturday at the Fyfergat farm in the Kruisrivier area, killing the 35 and 37-year old brothers.
Olivier said Civil Aviation Authorities members were expected on the scene later in the day to assess the cause of the accident.
