Johannesburg – ‘n Bejaarde vrou en twee seuns het naby Vryburg in Noordwes verdrink, het die polisie Maandag gesê.
Inwoners wat verbygestap het, het Sondagmiddag klere in ‘n vallei gesien en ondersoek ingestel, het kapt, Tselane Nkala gesê.
“Hulle het die lyke van die twee kinders, wat onderskeidelik vier en vyf jaar oud was, in die vlak vallei gevind. Ná verdere soektogte het hulle die vrou se lyk daar naby gevind,” het sy gesê.
“Dit wil voorkom of die vrou die vorige dag deur kitsvloede in die vallei ingespoel is. Die seuns het glo geswem toe hulle Sondag verdrink het.”
Nkala sê kitsvloede in die vallei is deur swaar reën in die omgewing veroorsaak.
