SEDGEFIELD NEWS - Two men were injured yesterday afternoon in seperate incidents while paragliding in the Sedgefield area.
The first incident took place just before 13:00 near Cloud Nine when a glider landed in a tree.
ER24 Knysna was first on the scene and had to call out the Red Cross helicopter and Metro rescuers from Oudtshoorn to rescue the man who was stuck in a high risk area that was difficult to gain access to.
In the second incident at 16:00 in Charles de Water Street in Sedgefield a glider also landed in a tree on an erf.
The paraglider allegedly fell out of the tree and broke his leg.
Metro paramedics treated him on the scene before transporting him to hospital.
