A man in his 30`s has been found dead at the bottom of a sheer cliff off Roman Road in Molweni in Durban.
The locals had contacted the emergency services and explained to them that the man had gone missing after allegedly looking for his father livestock the previous morning. When he had not returned they went and searched for him. They had found the man, at the bottom of the cliff earlier this evening and they immediately called in for assistance.
ER24 paramedics rushed to the scene and four of the local men had managed to climb down the cliff face and brought the missing man up to the road, carrying him up in a blanket. Sadly, his injuries had been so extensive, after allegedly falling down the cliff, and he was already deceased. Initial assessments revealed that there were no signs of life and the young man was declared dead.
The actual incident details are not clear, but the local police were at the scene to perform their necessary investigations into what had actually taken place.
The man`s family were at the scene when his body was brought up to the road and they were distraught and in obvious shock as to what had happened.
