Another person was hit by a train in Cape Town on Wednesday.
The man was stuck near the Nolungile Railway Station in Khayelitsha.
This is the fourth person to die in such an incident in the past two days in the mother city.
In an apparent murder-suicide, a woman and two children were run over by a train in Eerste-River on Tuesday.
The victims have yet to be identified.
Metrorail spokesperson Lindelo Matya has urged Cape Town communities to use bridges and designated subways when crossing railway lines.
