Mossel Bay temperatures on the increase? Statistics show a rise in maximum temperatures from 2009 to date for the month of January. A study is currently conducted by the SAWDOS with the help of Johan van Aarde to determine if there is a trend in rising temperatures since 2009. The following graphs depict temperatures for the month of January as recorded by the weather station situated in Heiderand, Mossel Bay. The SAWDOS is monitoring temperatures and will release a full report at the end of April 2012. It is far to early to come to conclusions but January 2012 is definitely the hottest January since 2009 in Mossel Bay.
