Johannesburg – ‘n Tiener het Woensdag verdrink in ‘n openbare swembad in Vanderbijlpark, het paramedici gesê.
Ooggetuies het die 16-jarige seun nog een oomblik langs die kant van die swembad sien sit. Die volgende oomblik was hy in die water, het Vanessa Jackson, woordvoerder van ER24, gesê.
Lewensredders het hom uit die water gehaal en hom probeer bybring.
Dit het gelyk of sy toestand stabiliseer en ‘n helikopter is uitgeroep om hom na ‘n hospitaal te neem, maar sy toestand het weer agteruitgegaan en hy het gesterf, het Jackson gesê.
