A 4-year-old girl survived a fall of six storeys from an apartment in Bloemfontein on Wednesday, paramedics said.
The girl was treated for a broken arm, various scrapes and bruises and suspected back and neck injuries, said ER24 spokesman Andre Visser.
“She was admitted to hospital in a critical but stable condition.”
Visser said the girl was playing in the apartment when her parents heard a sound of breaking glass.
“Upon investigating the noise her parents found that the girl had plummeted six floors out the window to the ground level,” he said.
