Cape Town - The body of a man has been found wedged between rocks on Chapman's Peak in Cape Town, the province's emergency medical services said on Thursday.
Spokesperson Keri Davids said base jumpers were leaping off Rock Face peak at about 09:40 on Wednesday when they saw the body.
A team of 11 rescuers was sent to retrieve the body, which had fallen about 200m below the peak.
The man, in his 50s, whose name was not released, was wearing hiking gear and was identified using an identity document found on him.
