A nine-year-old boy is trapped in a drain pipe at Bomela on the KwaZulu-Natal South Coast.
It is thought that the boy had crawled into the drain to retrieve a mango and thereafter became tightly wedged inside.
Paramedics and rescue technicians have been working for over two hours to free him. His medical condition remains stable.
Updates will follow.
