A 28-year-old skateboarder has died after he collided with a truck on the R45 in Franschoek, Cape Town.
The man sustained serious injuries to his abdomen, head and chest.
ER24's Andre Visser said the victim was skateboarding downhill at the time of the accident.
“Upon entering the corner, the man collided with a truck coming up the hill at speed. When ER24 paramedics arrived at the scene, they discovered that the man had sustained severe injuries.”
