Kenya Red Cross: 4 People Killed by Falling Rocks

The Kenya Red Cross says four people have died after rocks fell on their houses in a Nairobi slum.

The Red Cross said that big rocks rolled and landed on houses in a slum in Nairobi early Wednesday morning after heavy overnight rains.


The statement said more than 40 houses were affected and there are fears others are trapped.

The Kenya Red Cross says its rescue efforts have been hampered by heavy rains, difficulty in accessing the homes affected and a lack of appropriate machines to move the rocks.
