Johannesburg - A man was killed when he fell from a trailer on the R33 in New Hanover, in KwaZulu-Natal on Saturday evening, paramedics said.
Netcare 911 spokesperson Chris Botha said the man was standing on the back of the trailer that was hooked behind a tractor.
"They went over a hump in the road when the man lost his footing and fell into the gap between the tractor and trailer... Paramedics arrived at the scene and found that the trailer wheels had gone over the patient," he said.
Botha said the man, in his 40s, died at the scene due to the extensive injuries he sustained.
