The SAWDOS is currently experiencing problems with the software that supports our SMS line messages. We experience an intermittent problem which results in the fact that we only receive certain messages on a random basis. This resulted in us receiving several messages late yesterday and today. We are currently working on the problem an hope to have it back on line by later this evening.
We apologize for the inconvenience but these kind of glitches to creep in from time to time.
The effects of severe weather are felt every year by many South Africans. To obtain critical weather information, the SAWDOS use voluntary weather observers. These volunteers help keep their local communities safe and informed by providing timely and accurate reports of severe weather to the SAWDOS for publication on the Blog. The SAWDOS is a non-profit organization that renders a FREE COMMUNITY-BASED SERVICE.
