Double tragedy at Bryanston home
Two little boys were found floating in a residential pool at a house on Ness Avenue in Bryanston this afternoon.
Family members found the two and three year old babies in the pool and the two year old was immediately rushed to Olivedale hospital with private transport. He was sadly declared dead upon arrival while paramedics from ER24′s JHB North branch arrived on scene and started resuscitation efforts on the three year old. While desperately trying to save his life they quickly made their way to Olivedale hospital for further attempts to stabilise the boy.
Trauma staff are still trying to save the child’s life in hospital.
It is not clear as to how long they had been in the icy water before being found, and it is not clear as to what took place allowing the two little boys living on the same property to get into the pool.
