The effects of severe weather are felt every year by many South Africans. To obtain critical weather information, the SAWDOS use voluntary weather observers. These volunteers help keep their local communities safe and informed by providing timely and accurate reports of severe weather to the SAWDOS for publication on the Blog. The SAWDOS is a non-profit organization that renders a FREE COMMUNITY-BASED SERVICE.

Intydse Weerwaarneming: Despatch (22 Julie 2012)
Ek heg weer twee fotos aan. Donderweer dreun weer in PE ongeveer 14h36, ek het die fotos Suid-Oos van Despatch geneem en die tweede in n Oostelike rigting geneem. Ek het vanoggend gesien die weer steek op maar gedink dit gaan wegwaai.Hulle voorspel net 3mm WN Johann Pretorius
