CAPE TOWN - Two men died in a shack fire in the Southern Peninsula on Saturday.
One shack was left completely destroyed at the Jim Se Bos Informal Settlement near Ottery.
Residents said the blaze started after 5am.
Spokesperson for Disaster Risk Management Services in Cape Town Wilfred Solomons-Johannes said the cause of the fire was not known.
