Kaapstad – Rampbestuurspanne in die Kaapse Skiereiland is op 'n hoë
gereedheidsgrondslag geplaas weens die moontlikheid van oorstromings in
die gebied, het RSG berig.
Dit volg ná temperature in die
provinsie skerp gedaal het, met die kans op reën sowat 80%.
Deurdringende reën het Vrydagnag in sommige dele in en om Kaapstad
geval.
Wilfred Solomons-Johannes, woordvoerder vir Stad Kaapstad
se Rampbestuursentrum, sê die hoeveelheid reën verhoog die moontlikheid
van oorstromings.
Inwoners naby die kus en ook motoriste is gewaarsku om uiters versigtig te wees in dié weerstoestande.
