A four-year-old boy was killed in a house fire in Theresa Park, Pretoria North, this morning.
The cause of the incident and the series of events preceding it remain unclear and will form the subject of a South African Police Force investigation.
Common cause information suggests that a fire started early this morning while the child was alone in the house.

The boy was declared dead by paramedics at the scene. He had been burnt beyond recognition.
