Eastern Cape - Watch: Be prepared
Subject: Severe Storms, Very Cold and Heavy Swell
Detail: Valid: 06-07-2012 1. Severe thunderstorms are expected over the eastern part of Northern Cape spreading on Saturday to western Free State and interior of Eastern Cape. 2. Very cold conditions are expected over the high ground of the Western Cape, southern high ground of the Northern Cape as well as over the northern high ground of the Eastern Cape on Saturday. 3. Heavy south-westerly swell in excess of 4m is expected to develop between Cape Columbine and Cape Agulhas on Friday evening, spreading to Walvis Bay and Port Alfred on Saturday.

Heavy south-westerly swell in excess of 4m is expected to develop between Cape Columbine and Cape Agulhas on Friday evening, spreading to Walvis Bay and Port Alfred on Saturday. 2. Severe thunderstorms are expected over the eastern part of Northern Cape spreading on Saturday to western Free State and interior of Eastern Cape. 3. Western Cape - Watch: Be prepared
Subject: Heavy Swell, Heavy Rainfall and Very Cold
Detail: Valid: 06-07-2012. 1. Heavy south-westerly swell in excess of 4m is expected to develop between Cape Columbine and Cape Agulhas on Friday evening, spreading to Walvis Bay and Port Alfred on Saturday. 2. Heavy rainfalls ( > 50mm) is expected in places over Cape Peninsula, south and southwestern parts of Cape Winelands District and Overberg District overnight to Saturday. 3. Very cold conditions are expected over the highground of the Western Cape, southern highground of the Northern Cape as well as over the northern highground of the Eastern Cape on Saturday.
