22 year old survives two storey fall
A 22 year old man has sustained severe injuries in the form of multiple broken bones after he fell from the second storey of a building in Durban Central this afternoon.
Paramedics responded to the corners of Monty Naicker and Sylvester Ntuli where they found the man to have fallen into the pavement outside of the building. He was miraculously alert and conscious, but had sustained severe injuries.
Paramedics medicated him in order to ease his pain while they placed him on spinal immobilisation equipment. He was then transported to Addington hospital for further assessment and care.
It is not clear as to what caused the man to fall but Durban Central police were on the scene to investigate.
