  • Detail: Valid 14 August 2012: 1. Veld fire danger expected for northern and eastern Northern Cape. 2. Very rough seas with wave heights between 4 to 6m are expected between Lamberts Bay and Cape Agulhas spreading overnight to Alexander Bay and Plettenberg Bay. 3. Very cold conditions are expected Wednesday on the highgrounds of Western Cape and western Northern Cape persisting through to Thursday. 4. Snowfalls are expected over the western mountains of Western and Northern Capes on Wednesday.

  • Subject: Very Rough Seas, Gale Force Wind, Very cold and Snow
  • Detail: Valid 14 August 2012: 1. Very rough seas with wave heights between 4 to 6m are expected between Lamberts Bay and Cape Agulhas spreading overnight to Alexander Bay and Plettenberg Bay. 2. Gale force NW wind (35kts or 65km/h) is expected between Table Bay and Cape Agulhas. 3. Very cold conditions are expected Wednesday on the highgrounds of Western Cape and western Northern Cape persisting through to Thursday. 4. Snowfalls are expected over the western mountains of Western and Northern Capes on Wednesday. ADVISORIES: 1. Gale force NW to W wind (35kts or 65km/h) is expected between Cape Agulhas and Plettenberg Bay Thursday.
