PROGRESS MADE WITH RESTORATION OF ELECTRICITY SUPPLY
The Nelson Mandela Bay Municipality wishes to advise residents affected by the electricity failure earlier today that good progress is being made with undoing the damage caused by the explosion of the high-voltage transformer at the Mount Road substation.
Mr Carl Hempel, NMBM Director of Distribution, has confir
med that the full return of power to all residents will occur sometime after 7pm this evening, in the early to mid evening.
The NMBM regrets any inconvenience caused to residents by this unforeseen power failure.
