The carcass of the stranded whale at The Point in Mossel Bay has been removed by authorities yesterday. (3 August 2012)
Residents and visitors are advised to avoid the coastal waters in the area of The Point in Mossel Bay due to the possible presence of sharks, attracted by the carcass and bodily fluids of the dead whale.
