NATIONAL NEWS - At least 15 shacks at the Skiet Informal Settlement in Butterworth were destroyed by a fire, leaving several families homeless, Eastern Cape police said on Tuesday.
Captain Jackson Manatha said the fire started around 9.30pm on Monday.
"The cause of the fire has not yet been determined; no one was injured."
Manatha said it was not clear where the affected families were taken after the fire.
