It's been a trying morning for motorists in KZN, as the heavy rain has caused flooding on major routes across the province.
East Coasters have reported Main Road in Pinetown, as well as large sections of the N2, and the M4 Ruth First Highway have become severely waterlogged.
Rick Turner Road (the old Francois Road) has been closed near UKZN, as that part of the road has been flooded. Click here for a full list of the road closures.
Motorists who have called in to our News and Views line have advised others to be cautious.
"Tell people to put on their headlights. Repeat: put on headlights!" was among the comments.
Meanwhile, Netcare 911's Chris Botha says a section of the N2 near Prospecton has become quite treacherous.
