We apologize for the layout of the blog this morning. This has happened in the past and was later fixed by Blogger. Gremlins must have been up to mischief last night as every single web-site where a log on is required asked the username and password this morning. Even the SAWDOS weather station failed to send data to several web-sites overnight. Well these things happen from time to time and seeing that SAWDOS is a non profitable free observation service we have to bear with hick-ups from time to time. However we have two alternatives, SAWDOS Twitter and SAWDOS Facebook Group in the event that the one media experience problems. We once again apologize for any inconvenience in this regard.
The effects of severe weather are felt every year by many South Africans. To obtain critical weather information, the SAWDOS use voluntary weather observers. These volunteers help keep their local communities safe and informed by providing timely and accurate reports of severe weather to the SAWDOS for publication on the Blog. The SAWDOS is a non-profit organization that renders a FREE COMMUNITY-BASED SERVICE.
