Three days after 19 people including foreign tourists and crew members on board were killed in the Sita Air's tragic plane crash , an aircraft of Yeti Airlines 9N-AJC bound towards Kathmandu from Pokhara made an emergency landing after a bird hit its body on Monday afternoon. According to Pratapbabu Tiwari, head of Pokhara Airport, the aircraft made an emergency landing at Pokhara Airport, 39 minutes after take-off following the bird hit. Preliminary investigation suggests that the pilot SL Maskey informed the airport immediately after the incident. It is learnt that the air craft made an emergency landing at around 3:45pm. There were 29 people including crew members on board. All are reported to be unharmed. It is said that small scratch can be seen on the left side of the aircraft.
