Pretoria - A fuel factory in Klerksoord, Pretoria North, was on fire on Wednesday afternoon, Tshwane emergency services said.
"There are a few factories on a large piece of ground. There is a larger factory that makes biofuel and it looks like their burner caught fire and it spread from there," said spokesperson Johan Pieterse.
He said no injuries had been reported since the fire started at 14:30.
"Everywhere the fuel fell there was fire," he said.
Two of the smaller factories on the premises had been totally destroyed and another partially destroyed, Pieterse said.
"There is plenty of damage. The fire is still burning at the biofuel factory."
