The Joint Operation Centre in Port Elizabeth indicated that they are in need of food, blankets, clothing (for children and adults) and mattresses for those that have been affected by the floods.
Port Alfred who bear the brunt of the severe weather is also in dire need of relief aid. Call Port Alfred Disaster Management on 046 624 11 11 for further instructions.
If you are able to assist them with any of these items please drop them off on the 2nd floor, at the Disaster Management offices, in the South End fire station building.
Our hearts go out to all those in need during this time, let's do what we can to assist those in need as a result of this disaster.
