The effects of severe weather are felt every year by many South Africans. To obtain critical weather information, the SAWDOS use voluntary weather observers. These volunteers help keep their local communities safe and informed by providing timely and accurate reports of severe weather to the SAWDOS for publication on the Blog. The SAWDOS is a non-profit organization that renders a FREE COMMUNITY-BASED SERVICE.
Just heard that the Mozambique Government called off the official search and rescue operation. The SA Search and Rescue team to return home. This is really sad news but the team are bound by the decision made by the Mozambique Government.
