Two killed in Limpopo aircraft crash
LIMPOPO - Two people were killed in a light-aircraft crash in Limpopo when their plane allegedly went down shortly after takeoff on Tuesday.
The plane is believed to have taken off from the Phalaborwa airfield in the morning before it crashed and burst into flames.
Limpopo South African Police Service Colonel Ronel Otto said the two occupants were declared dead on scene.
“At this stage the cause of the accident will be investigated by the Civil Aviation Authority.”
